Two key cleaning moves

Video laterAudio matters

Steps

  1. 1

MOVE 1 — the S-pattern. Wipe in overlapping S shapes across the surface, moving in one direction only. It pushes dirt ahead of the cloth instead of spreading it back.

  2. 2

Use the S-pattern for flat surfaces: counters, tables, floors, tub bases, mirrors.

  3. 3

MOVE 2 — the W-pattern. Sweep in wide overlapping W shapes for vacuuming and ironing, so every pass overlaps the last.

  4. 4

Fold your cloth into quarters so you always have eight clean faces. Turn to a fresh face instead of rubbing dirt around.

  5. 5

Never clean in circles — circles put the dirt you lifted straight back down.

S-pattern for wiping, W-pattern for vacuuming and ironing. Those two moves cover most of the job.
