Technique
Room-by-room vs. task-by-task
Steps
- 1
Room-by-room: finish one room completely before moving on. Use it in client homes — the client sees finished rooms and nothing is half done if you run out of time.
- 2
Task-by-task: do one job (all dusting, then all mirrors, then all floors) through the whole house. Faster when you carry one product and one cloth.
- 3
Smart Girl default is room-by-room, with floors saved for a single task-by-task pass at the end if the whole house is being done.
- 4
Whichever you use, always end with the room nearest the exit so you never walk back over clean floor.
