Steps

   Check the care label before anything wet touches the fabric.

   Vacuum curtains top to bottom with the upholstery tool, keeping the fabric held taut with your free hand.

   Dust the rail, rings and finials.

   For a musty smell, tumble the curtains 15 minutes on air-only with a dryer sheet if the label allows, then rehang immediately.

   Straighten pleats and hang the hem evenly.
