Living/dining top-to-bottom clean

Steps

   Prep: clear surfaces and floor, take cushions and throws off, move light chairs out.

   Dust high — light fittings, fan blades, curtain rails, picture frame tops, corners, mouldings.

   Clean mirrors and glass, then the TV and electronics with a dry flat-weave cloth.

   Dust and wipe all surfaces, lifting every object; polish wood with the correct polish.

   Vacuum upholstery with the upholstery tool, including under and behind the cushions.

6. 6

   Wipe skirting, switches, handles and window sills.

7. 7

   Vacuum the whole floor with the crevice tool at the edges, then mop hard floor.

   Put back cushions, throws and objects, and style the room before you leave.
