Reference
Hot vs. cold wash
Steps
- 1
Cold: colours, delicates, anything that might shrink or bleed, and most everyday loads.
- 2
Warm: mixed loads and moderately soiled items.
- 3
Hot: whites, towels, bedding, cloths and anything needing sanitising.
- 4
Never hot on protein or oil stains before they are treated — heat sets them permanently.
- 5
Always follow the care label over the general rule.
