Steps

   Only handle laundry you have been asked to handle.

   Never mix one client's dirty and clean laundry in the same basket.

   Sort at the hamper: darks, whites, colours, towels, delicates.

   Anything damp goes to be dried, not into a pile — it turns musty within hours.

   Leave the hamper closed and the folded clean laundry where the client expects it.
