Steps

   Work top to bottom and in one direction round the room.

   Lift every item, dust under it and put it back in place.

   Damp microfibre for painted and laminate surfaces; wood polish on the cloth for wood.

   Cleaning toothbrush along carved edges and drawer handles.

   Buff wood dry so no polish film is left behind.
