How to clean windowsills
Photo stepVideo laterAudio matters
Steps
- 1
Vacuum or brush the sill first — dead insects, grit and hair come off dry, not wet.
- 2
Spray all-purpose cleaner on your cloth, not on the window, so you do not streak the glass.
- 3
Wipe the sill in an S-pattern, then the sides and the sill edge.
- 4
Use a cleaning toothbrush or cotton bud in the corners and the window track.
- 5
Buff dry so no water sits in the corners.
