Sink care and enamel stain removal
Photo stepVideo laterAudio matters
Steps
- 1
Empty the sink completely and rinse away loose debris.
- 2
Sprinkle baking soda over the whole basin and add a drop of dish soap.
- 3
Work it round with a non-scratching sponge in an S-pattern, then up the sides and around the rim.
- 4
Cleaning toothbrush around the tap base, the overflow and the plughole rim.
- 5
Rinse thoroughly, then buff the basin and taps dry with a flat-weave cloth — this is what makes it shine.
- 6
Stubborn enamel stains: baking soda paste left 30 minutes, then scrub and rinse. Never steel wool on enamel.
