Kitchen top-to-bottom clean

Steps

   Prep: clear the worktops fully, empty the sink, take out the bin, move the kettle and toaster.

   Pretreat: hob, sink, inside the microwave, and any baked-on spots. Spray and leave.

   Dust high — top of cupboards, extractor hood, light fittings, corners.

   Clean cupboard doors and handles, working top row then bottom row.

   Clean appliance exteriors using the eye-level test, then the microwave interior.

   Clean worktops and the backsplash, corners with the cleaning toothbrush.

   Clean the hob and extractor filter area, then the sink, plughole and taps.

   Wipe the bin inside and out, fit a fresh liner, wipe skirting and switches.

9. 9

   Sweep or vacuum the floor including under the units' toe-kick, then mop and leave to dry.

10. 10

    Put everything back squared and buff the taps and appliance fronts.
